Christmas Get-together at Weston-Super-Mare GC – Thursday 11th December 2025

We had a thankfully dry but cold day to round up the calendar at Weston-Super-Mare GC this year and as usual the hospitality was very welcoming. A big thank you to Catherine Kromholc and her team at Weston for making it such a great day.

It was a very close day with 3 pairs all scoring 37 points but Captain Mike Wake and his partner Will Rowlinson sneaked into first place on count back, with Will also taking the prize for best Christmas jumper. Runners-up were Jim Cunning and his partner Charles Griffiths.

Nearest the pin on 17a wet to David Davison, partner of Paul Heyburn and Catherine’s partner Julie Knight took the honours on the 3rd
